Default got my first ding today

I was feeling happy and then this happened. I parked my car at costco farther away from everyone so they couldn't touch my car. Then, it happened. I opened my door and let it swing a little too far and bang the side of the door, where the handle is, hit the railing of the place where people put their cart away. I could see a small amount of paint stuck to the railing. I thought it wasn't from my car at first but boy was I wrong It was from my car door. I'm so pissed at myself for not paying attention. Anyways, I went to the dealer to buy a paint touch up and the color didn't even match It does hide the ding a little though. I'm still pissed!!! Why can't Honda make the paint a little tougher? Like those cars in the Saturn commercial?

i had MANYYYYY incidents at costco! the latest one was when i was parked perfectly normal between two cars... go do some wholesale shopping... come out and theres a different car to the left of me parked about a foot 1 away from my door... i get to my door and BAM!! two scratches about 2 inches long on my side mirror... the part that makes me so mad is that on the other side of the car... theres 4 empty parking spaces!!!!!!!!!! but the guy HAD to park next to me and so close to me... to be close to the front entrance of costco

No offense, but of all the places to park, why would you park next to a shopping cart "corral?"

Its alright. My car gets rock chips around the bumper all the time now. Theres probably around 5 that are visible. I just try to keep my car as clean as possible.

I have only taken my car to Costco once. After I had to drop the top to load the 80 lb bottle of ketchup in the passenger seat, I came to the conclusion that this car is waaaaaaaaay to small to shop there. I don't know how you guys do it.

Jerry

BTW I have had some close calls with dings too. I wonder all the time why it is that I can park in the farthest place from the building and some schmuck will park right freakin next to me.

happens to me all the time, park way in the back of the lot, TONS of free spots yet someone HAS to park directly beside me.!!!
