I just got an estimate price for putting a wing on my S2000, which I believe involves drilling four holes(It is already painted), the guy told me that it was gonna cost around $200 dollars... that can't be right can it?

probably some sort of "shop minimum" fee. Some companies dont do work unless it generates so much revenue.

That's only $50 per hole!

If this is the OEM trunk lip/wing it is not that difficult of a DIY if you have any skills at all. The hardest part is center punching and drilling the holes. It shouldn't take a competent shop more than an hour if they know what they're doing.

Do it yourself and then pay someone at the local Honda dealership to install the springs for you.

I had a Mugen SS painted and installed for $150.00. It seems a bit high, but if its a reputable place (also read as "hard to find reputable..") go with it. Ultimately, its an expensive toy to play with...
