Just to let you know you could have told him you didnt feel comfortable to make a repair to your vehicle so you would take it to a shop to get it done. If he was an ass about it and gave you all those tickets, the court would throw most of it out. Cops cant just do what they want. I do have some inside experience (I took about 2 years of classes in Admin of Justice .... I was going to be a police officer)

 

Screw those cops man. Always out to harass import owners.

and altough i thought it was a total BS, i had no choice.. it was the matter of 1 ticket vs god knows how many he was gonna write me for..

i've read all too many cases of cops just letting go with warning but that has yet to happen to me.. but at least i can go to traffic school to erase this point if i fighting it fails...

 

did the cop by any chance check to see if you had a cat converter and not using a test pipe? Sorry about ur experience with this dick cop!!

I would mention the peeling off tint thing, that is uncalled for an is just a power trip for the cop.

do something about it.

 

possibly mention that in court and file a complaint for that officer,
hopefully you got his badge number etc.

good luck on the tickets too; i didnt realize one can get a ticket for taking
a corner too fast, how fast did you go?

becareful out there. i made a U turn the other day and the sheriff pulled me over and said he saw me fishtail. he said he could impound my car or whatever cuz it was reckless driving

he let me off but i didnt even do anything... what a jerk
