damn, i got popped on the 110, same situation as you, but the cops had no love for me man.

ok, thats it!!! i will put a "how to be a cop" type book in my passenger seat for this very reason. just tell em i was leaving starbucks or something reading that damn cop book. there has got to be a book like that somewhere.

i don't think i would pass for a doctor even if i had the stethescope around my neck and scrubs on, they might think i just jacked a doctor.

Man, it's a good thing he didn't look in the secret compartment. rolleyes.gif

Were you doing a little anesthesia of your own?
What's the difference between an anesthesist and an anesthesiologist?

i here these stories all the time of people being let off with a wartning. i must admit i am very jealous of all that get off with a warning. me, the best thing i ever got from a cop, was a speeding ticket of 60 in a 40 instead of a drag reacing ticket which woulda had me in a heap of trouble. turns out the guy i was racing had way more problems with his license and vehicle, so the cop didnt want too too much paperwork, offered me the speeding ticket instead of drag racing, and i said thanks. this warning you speak of i have yet to be the recipient off. congrats though. and 93, thats it? WUSSY!

I don't think any state really "allows" them per say, could be wrong - but most states I know the law in prohibit them from being used...there is some loophole that allows them to sell them, of course.

:::Edit:::

Looks like I'm wrong -

Radar detectors are illegal in cars in Virginia and the District Of Columbia. Radar jammers, and possibly other devices like IR-absorbing license plate covers, are explicitly illegal in California (VC

haha, he also failed to mention it was in a 80 MPH speed limit. j/k,

Traffic around here goes 20 mph over (75 in 55), I've had cops riding my a$$ doing 75 in the left lane. As long as you get over, and you're not weaving in and out of traffic they don't mind. It actually helps to alleviate traffic if everyone goe's a little faster.

Include attractive females on the list of people immune to speeding tickets.

A friend of mine was pulled over in her blazer doing 90+ mph (exact speed unknown since the needle was buried). Flirts with cop, gets off with warning.

I get pulled over doing 62 in a 55, think about doing same as friend, realize don't have same charms as female friend and cop will probably beat the crap out of me for even trying.

Give him license and registration and get $90 fine in return.
