So If I am driving in front of you and decide to do something stupid like lock up my brakes and you rearend me...then you are 100% at fault? Or I am driving like an idiot, and do something very very stupid and that causes you to react accordingly to my f*d up driving, then you are in the wrong? I think you know the answer to the question. Under normal circumstances, you couldn't possibly crash into someone unless you are following too closely. Obviously you are mistaken...maybe you should check into some driving schools. Your logic is illogical...get a clue! You have typical child-like thinking and as such should be banned from driving on my roads!
Of course I would be pissed off if someone was clowning around in front of me but that wasn't the point at all. I maintain my initial claim from a "legal" perspective around here. I wouldn't talk about it in any other perspective because at the end of the day, only legal issues matter. Maybe you should take a deep breath yourself before you mouth off and comment on my "childlike thinking." The person in front can claim anything, at least around here (the poster is in Jersey). Go and tell the judge that his ruling is childlike and you'll be laughed out of court.

So you're going to beat someone's ass because they're being an ass? Very adultlike. A wise tip for you - never ever assume you can kick someone's ass you don't know.

Each state has is own laws, and wreckless driving is still wreckless driving. Causing someone behind you to almost lose control does not prove they were in the wrong. Especially when the driver in the front was out of control in the first place. It's a common sense thing. I have to agree with what you said, but like I said it would just make me feel better to beat someones ass that conducts themselves in this manner. If people keep doing brake checks and think they can get away with it, then they may continue to think it is okay. It's not okay and maybe an ass whooping will help remind people to not be an ass. The moral of the story is you don't have a right to drive on the roads. Driving is a privilege...if you want to be an ass do it on private property or just don't do it at all! Some people don't understand their are repercussions to be felt by their actions.

I don't disagree that people should stop dicking around on the road but I was just talking from a legal, and only legal standpoint. In no way do I condone the "anything goes" driving that people can get away with. They'll get their own someday.

Yeah I agree with you. I'm just speaking from more of a karmic point of view, but I understand what you are saying. As you can probably guess I am a little heated about this....

1. Not all cops are evil and need to be killed. Even IF this particular one is a dick it does not prove a thing in relation to all cops. Your suggestion that they are all dick is petty, foolish, rude, insensitive, and ignorant. Do you REALLY think this cop and EVERY cop needs to be killed? You are an asshole.

2. Instead of a brake check, when you (or anyone reading this) is being tailgated, slow down (NOT a brake check) just slow down. This will encourage the tailgater to pass YOU and get away from you. If traffic really THAT heavy that he cannot pass you, at least you have opened up a space in front of you to allow for his braking in case something bad happens in front of you.

One thing that constantly annoys me is the police thinking they are above the law. This is something I cannot stand. This officer obviously thought he was. How come the people that enforce the law tend not to obey the law?

Every single day you see police zooming down roads/highways for no reason. Not responding to a call, sometimes you look in and the office is in street clothes going home. There really needs to be some check on the cops, but unfortunately one cop won't ticket another.
