Default GOT REAR ENDED!

Car- 2000 Honda S2000 166,000 miles

Got rear ended today by a work van...

I'm pretty sad about it. The van rear ended me and pushed in the bumper, trunk, lights, unibody. Do you think they will try to fix it or total it?

That SUCKS!!! I would be PISSED!!!!!

That forth pic is a little scary. They usually go what 80% of value to total it?

With that high miles it will be close for sure.

Good luck.

So your neck and back both hurt, right?

No, seriously, your neck and back both hurt. You should go see your doctor. And make sure it's documented.

Haha, I'm not like that but I am going to push to have the car totaled.

-Unibody bent and can't be straightened out perfectly without alot of time/panels replaced
-bumper
-tail lights scratched
-trunk lid
-Paint for the whole car because they can't make it match exactly

I rather them total it, I buy it back and take off my parts and part out the rest of the car to cover the buy back price. We'll see how it plays out. I can't believe the van didn't get hurt at all.

Hey, now it looks like a Z3. That alone means it's totaled.

I wouldn't want them to even try to fix that. Total it out, but it back, part it out!

exactly! Even though it doesn't look that bad, the car will never be the same quality as before.

Probably going to be totaled seeing as its an AP1 with frame damage.

Seriously though, get a free X-ray on the house (van). It never hurts to be careful, you never know if it WILL start hurting afterwards.

Respect!! However, I agree with ikeyballz and go ahead and be safe with it. Those types of injuries can come back and bite ya in the ass.
