Default Got wheel locks.

I just got wheel locks. I was curious whether I should jack up the car for the install since I will be only removing one lug nut per wheel?

What are the torque specs?

Thanks.

Official torque is 80 lb/ft, but personally, I go 90.

Leave the car on the ground. You can remove one lug without any problems. Just check the torque of the others after you get the lock on.

Like X said, leaving it on the ground will be fine. I personally go to 85 ft/lbs. Might as well slightly loosen all the lug nuts one at a time and get them all properly torqued to spec (80-90, whatever you choose).

It is actually recommended to leave the car on the ground. The car is more secure that way.
