"Green Air Filters?"
The 2169 that I use is not made for the S2K as far as I know.
This was a custom install. I had to modify the airbox two ways:
1) remove center baffle (the rather common airbox mod),
2) install custom rubber mount on passenger's side of the airbox to hold one end of the filter. This is a section, about 1/4" wide, of a 4" diameter rubber pipe coupling, and, it is glued to the side of the airbox. The end of the filter slips into this ring, and a zip tie snugs it down.
Also,
3) I had to provide a custom solution for attaching the filter to the air inlet tube. This is because the 2169 is made to go over a solid inlet tube, and the S2K inlet tube is also made to go over a solid inlet on the filter (e.g. they are both female ends of the coupling; they are both made of rubber and both need something to prevent crush).
So, I cut the male coupling piece off of a standard S2K air filter, which provided a solid insert for the inlet tube to keep it from crushing. Then the 2169 slips on over the S2K inlet tube. It actually fits quite well, and then clamps down with the large hose clamp that you can see in the picture going over the 2169's boot.

ottocrat:
Thanks for the information. Since I posted this, I have discovered that the manufacturer has no filters on hand for the S 2000, and does not know when others will be made. Not a very hopeful discovery! Unfortunately, the model you used will block off my "side pipe" of my "customized" air box, so I just need a shorter one.
