Are grey S2000s invisible?
I've owned this car for about a month (1,400 miles) and I've already had several near misses when other cars have pulled out in front of me. It's just like when I used to ride motorcycles! I theorize the car must really "blend in" because it is about the same color as faded asphalt, and there is no chrome on the front (thank God) or any other big features to catch the eye (wonder if Mingster's post of the wrecked grey car was related to this). I'm considering running with my HIDs on during daylight hours. I hope it is just as invisible to Mr. Law!
Any other grey or black Stook owners experienced this?

I was following my sister right after getting my S2000 and she commented that my "silver" (not grey) was almost invisible on the concrete freeway. That can work to our advantage in that we blend so well the police and their radar can't see us. The radar automatically begins beeping when the police so much as drive by a red stook even if it is parked.
Silver is a very chameleon like color and will blend in in almost any situation.
1) it's a very common color.
2) the local BMW dealer traded his own silver car in after having 2 accidents where the people who ran into them simply said "we didn't see you". He was rear ended!
Silverstone's great tho... and maybe my RED seats will be enough to ward off the SUVs.
I always tend to drive with my lights on during the day anyways for additional visibility.

BTW, that's what I do. Its the law here in Sweden to have daytime running lights..for safety. Strange but true.

I've personally been run up on to a curb twice now. MAN when will people start looking where they are going? It never ceases to amaze me how little some people pay attention. This tiny little horn does not help either. I think that is the next thing I will replace.
I remember years ago, when I had silver car, reading a study on colors of cars. It said that silver was the hardest to see, especially in the rain. It blends too much into the pavement.
I think red was the easiest, but the yellows weren't out back then. I'm driving black now, which I think was the second hardest to see.
