Are grey S2000s invisible?
Believe it or not RED is harder to see at dusk than many other colours even black, I think, this is to do with the way the light diffuses from a red car, and something to do with red being right at the end of the visible colour spectrum.
Im sure someone can explain this better.

BTW, that's what I do. Its the law here in Sweden to have daytime running lights..for safety. Strange but true.

I always run in daylight with my headlights on, and I do it with every car I own. All the data is quite convincing that it reduces the likliehood of an accident substantially, precisely because all the morons out there can see you better.

In some counties, fire trucks have changed from being painted red, to yellow, precisely for the reason you describe. (I'm really surprised they aren't painted white though. Seems like everyone looks at my WHITE S2K!)
I don't think it's the color. I have a RED and an old man in a K car didn't see me coming the other way and turned left right into me. His neighbor came down the street and said "Well your car is kinda small. He probably just saw over the top of you." I'm thinking I hope he sees little kids in crosswalks....
I also drive with my headlights on all of the time, as the Silverstone color is definitely harder for other drivers to see. I keep mine in the garage on rainy & most cloudy days...that's when the red Jeep comes out!
I find that I drive much more defensively in this car than I have in any other car that I've owned.
