So looking to purchase a handgun. The backstory is that I work 9-5 and then have class downtown in a very sketchy part of town. YAY VCU...not. I find myself walking through parking decks, allies, streets trying to get to and from class (if you know the area, its not well lit and allies/streets cannot be avoided). The question I have is who rides with their handgun in the secret compartment? I am have been gravitating between a subcompact glock for concealed carry. Either a 26 or 27. I'm not asking advice on this gun to buy - my question is there any holster or safe way to carry it in the car's secret compartment? I figured this will be the best place to put when its not on me.
