Default Which happens if...

I'll be collecting my yellow 2002 S2000 on thursday, as i have never owned a convertable car before, a funny though came across my mind. i was just wondering what would happen if someone accidentally pushed the button to close the soft top while the hard top is in place? is there an automatic cut off while the hard top is on, or does it simply damage the soft top? the salesman at the maindealer couldnt answer this question.

also looking at photos of modifyed s2ks, i've noticed that most has had its front head light washer jets removed, i think this makes the car looks much better. so is this difficult to do?

When the HT goes on, it pushes on a switch. This switch is a "defeat" switch that prevents the soft top switch from working.

I was able to do it with no problem The "front head light washer jet removal modification" is a simple, yet effective mod. I've gotten numerous compliments on it.

The North American model doesn't come with these in the first place. It's only the European and Australian model that does...
