my friend has an 00 s2k and just recently after the tranny fluid has been changed, it is hard to get into gears, at a dead stop its smooth but as soon as u start rolling it alot harder, it doesnt grind but u got to force it in, do u think the pressure plate is getting weak now? the car gas 40k miles on it, so it might be time for a new clutch, let me know if anybody had this problem, thanks

 

Assuming that the tranny fluid was the correct weight, it could be due to clutch wear or synchro wear (from skipping gears).

 

How was it,before the flid change???

 

yea it was fine before the change, im wondering if thr pressure plate is done,

 

What transmission fluid did you use?

 

very important question. i would have to say it has to do with the type of fluid used. was it honda MTF?
