Hard to shift into reverse gear?
I've had the problem a few times. For me, it is not so much a difficulty getting it into reverse, but rather depressing the shift lever to release the reverse lock out. Sometimes, the lever simply will not go down (straight down as perpendicular to the ground). Unless it goes down, you cannot get into reverse.
I just spoke with Honda zone about this today, and was told, they haven't heard of the problem. Somebody should clue those folks in.

When it happened (usually in the morning), I always reclutched, shifted to other gears and pressed it down while shifting it again to "R" (reverse).

I just replaced my trans fluid as well with Mobil 1 Synthetic. It went in like butter the first few times but after awhile, it came back. =( At least I know I'm not the only one.
please please please make sure you the right weight
the m1 gl4 fluid is 75w90, the oem honda fluid is more like 10w30 weight
