Default HARD SHIFTING

had my car back from the dealer and it seems each time I put it in a gear (1-4) I have had some trouble getting it directly in gear kinds like a thump when I shift from one gear to another.

Before the fix it only occurred in first gear now it seems to happen in each gear 1-4 did they mess up or is it just break in time I've put 500 miles and it still seems notchy

the technician was very discreet and showed me all the problems he came across my secondary gearing had a chipped tooth it also had some bad bearings which they also replaced.

also they replaced my driver side window trim and every time I close my door I hear a cushion of air which sometimes makes me close the door harder because it doesn't close with the same smoothness as before

has anyone had any experience with these problems??

^ check lemon laws.. i think it says something about how long a car should be in the shop and also about having the same problem several times.. i think the number is 3.. check it out.

whoa planet honda on 22 huh
thats where i got my car from its an 04
i had the same clutch problem
everytime i would shift gears it would have a grinding sound
on the lower gears.
took it in and they drove it couldn't find the problem( of course)
i drove it a week later same thing gringing
i took it back, they printed out a newsletter stating that s2000's have grinding sounds on lower gears and that it was normal? lol i had a few laughs about that one myself if i find the paper i will scan it and post it on here.
But i told them that was not a good enough answer and if it starts further problems to the car i will hold them responsible, they agreed
after that never really had that problem since.
ps, this was all b4 my turbo.

Some basic questions here, but does the shifting improve after the transmission is hot? When you say 'thump', is itmore of a thuunk or a thump? Does it sound like positive engagement or like something is dropping?
