IMO, I can't think of a single convertible out there that looks "cool" with its top up (retractable hardtops excluded). Even the almighty Ferrari convertibles look really goofy and in some ways, a total abomination with their tops up.

I agree w/ the comments made by xviper. If you plan on getting an '00 or '01 S2000 your softtop will have a plastic window instead of glass. I have a '01 so the rear defroster on the hardtop really comes in handy for me in the winter. Everything aside the #1 reason i bought the hardtop is for the looks

actually, you're both right. The interior is plastic and the exterior is aluminum.
