oh yeah dude. crazy. but i suppose south florida is worse then others in the steal yo shit dept. either way, dont think cause you need a truck to take it they wont just bring a damn truck. my bike was stolen and they needed a truck to do it, guess what, they brought a truck.

OR, if they dont want to waste there time wth a truck, they will just steal your car and strip it somewhere else. bottom line, have good insurance. thats your best weapon.

the trunk monkey doesn't work, you got to have the right permits and you'll have to deal with the animal rights people....you guys are silly.

I would think it'd deter a casual criminal more than a soft top, but as everyone said... not going to do anything against the hardcore guys.

As far as having the hard top taken...I would think that thieves are also going to take upgraded wheels/tires, yet people continue to put them on cars.

Next to a trunk monkey, the best solution is a garage. Total up the costs of a hard top, an alarm system, seat locks, and Lojack.

I vote for a garage.

i think u misunderstood me. dont put a HT on your car and expect increased security. thats what i am trying to say. put a HT on your car cause you like it, it looks good, and you wanted it. but dont tell me its gonna increase your security, cuase it aint, its gonna increase the desirableness of your car, just like wheels do.

No question, if they want any parts or the entire car, they are going to take it.

Not around here. They're not reluctant at all to smash windows.

But like u said get it for the looks and other things its not more secure in a sense. But i would love someone to try and break in my car i park it right out side of where i live. And dam i have been wanting to test my 9. best protection is a garage hands down
