Default hardtop cost...

my dealer said he would sell it to me for cost, does anyone know what the price of it could be? i want to get a good idea before asking him for the price of retail on the hardtop. i did a search but did not finding anything specific to what i am asking. thanks gals/guys for your help!!

HT from dealer (complete setup) will cost you around $3000. Try hardtopguy.com or cheaper yet, buy used.

3000 is there "at cost" price? i thought this was retail?

$3000?!? - that's what I paid for my '94 Miata WITH a hard top.

New Miata hardtops go for $1500 so I have to say the ones from the Honda dealer are way overprived.

I don't know what they pay. I'd expect they don't mark it up more than $500.

i suggest getting the price from hardtop guy and then seeing how much your dealer is selling it to you "at cost"....i bet hardtopguy's retail price will be better then your dealer's "at cost" price

Hardtopguy sold Spa yellows a while ago for $1800. I don't think he sold for less than his (dealer) cost, although this might have been a special deal from Honda.
