Default Hardtop help!!!!

I found this......."Suzuka Blue hardtop that will fit a 02' or 03' S2000. Comes with hardware kit. It is in perfect condition, and has a tinted rear window."

Will it fit a 2001 S2000? I don't care about the color right now... just looking for cheap... and this is possibly driving distance for me.

Thanks

Yes it will, all hardtops are the same as long as you install using the correct parts kits.

Does anyone know if the hardtop hardware that goes into the S can be removed?
Has anyone tried this before?

The "hardware kit" for an '02/'03 will be incomplete for an '01. What will be missing is all the stuff required to make the rear window defrost work in the hardtop. An accessory switch will be needed in the center console and some wiring will be needed. Because the '02/'03 have a glass rear window, the wiring to the back of the car is already done.
