I'm having the same problems and getting water in by the front/side on the HT. I also have a cusco cage and thought it was cause of that. I really need to fix this.

any more help.?

I'm still trying to figure out if thats whats really causing the problem or not. I'll probably end up buying the new part and I'll let you know if that fixes it.

But can anyone say with any certainty if the bent side latch could be the cause of my problem? I don't know what else could be... I've taken it to Honda and a specialty shop as well as looked at it myself and I don't think its simply something that can be fixed by adjusting the bolts.
