Hardtop owners - how hard is swapping tops?
The installation instructions for a hard top are fairly lengthy, listing lots of extra trim bits that need to be installed when the hardtop is installed for the first time.
Do these need to be removed when spring arrives, or is it a simple matter of just popping off the hard top and enjoying the soft top until late fall (the extra trim bits being a one time only install)? I also assume the soft top just remains in the down position under the installed hard top.
(I used to own a Jeep Wrangler, so I'm well versed in the seasonal hard top/soft top swap ritual, and the S2000's top weighs a lot less than the Jeep's...)

A floor stand with the top on is top heavy. If you roll it across the floor and catch a pebble with one of the wheels, the thing could tip over. It also takes up floor space which most people don't have in their garages.
I've been using this hoist for over 19 months. No problemo!
