Do you think he was pissed because you were driving a car that costs about the same as his yearly salary?

That's not so bad, a dirty look is a dirty look, what did you expect him to do, go blasting down the street at 2X the speed limit. They kind of have to follow the same rules as we do on the road.

And just for the record thats not being harrased, having a CHP pull you over for while you were going the speed limit and holding you at gun point for allegadly stealing your own car is harrasment. so I think you got off a little light.

Next time just pull over, If he pulls over to ask. Ask him why he pulled over?

If not, and if you have Playstation 2, replay the scenario on Grand Theft Auto 3. The possibilities are endless!

Well your rights and actions you can take are this....

Do NOT speed. Then he can pull you over for speeding. HOWEVER, you CAN turn your signal on, indicating you want to move over. You can then slow down to move in behind the cop. Even if that means you have to slow down to 5mph... there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING illegal about that. Speeding up to make a turn or exit is illegal. Slowing down is not. As long as you arne't cutting anyone off, you can slow down as much as you need to in order to make your turn.

How did you know it was a dirty look through the helmet? You should have smiled at him and said nice bike.

Was doing nothing illegal. I don't even have an aftermarket exhaust on my car, which usually get a bike cops' attention. My car is just slammed with 17" bronze volk ce28n rims.

Lets say I was doing something wrong. I would think he should just pull me over instead of blocking me in a lane.

Sounds to me like he was trying to intimidate you Kekoa. Trying to piss you off so you would react in a way that he could legitimately hassle you. For whatever reason, he was rubbed the wrong way by your existence. Not many options in a situation like that. I would have winked at him and revved the engine a few times to let him know his overbearing attitude didn't mean squat to me. Then I would have pulled over, parked, and waited for him to either go away or come back and give me a verbal reason for his BS attitude. What is it with motorcycle cops? Is it just me or do an unusual amount of them seem to have a domineering attitude that's usually uncalled for?

Next time get his license plate, file a police complaint, and copy it to your senator.
