Hartop hardware

Had a question on can u avoid paying for some side catchers and still latch your hardtop down? Is there a way? Or atleaste a way to keep it secured for the meantime?

From: wishing I was in -

A guy I know used his soft top frame to pinch down on the hardtop. You have to angle the hardtop on with the soft top partially down.

I don't recommend it. Just get the hardware.

Yeah I feel yeah both....... I just purchased mine today and one day delivery so its arriving tomorrow by noon............ Cant wait to install my Seibon its just sittin in my living room.........

you can easily make some brackets the will allow the hardtop to bolt on. Just requires someone with good fabrication skills.

Go search the miata forums to see how they are bolting their hardtops down.
