Tom, I'm no expert but try disconnecting the battery then reattach it, sometimes this will reset everything and maybe it will work. Just a thought, good luck

Its me again, I once had a prob with the factory alarm and someone had suggested I pull the fuse and re-insert it, and it worked maybe you'll have the same luck.

You've tried different keys, so I doubt this is the problem, but it was reported here that the Mobil Speed Pass can interfere with the immobilizer function. If not a Speed Pass, perhaps there is another EM/RF emitter in close range that is causing interference? Please let us know how this works out.

We had a note in our Acura newsletter that a large number of keys on the same keyring s your car keys could cause interference. I doube this is your problem, but it cannot hurt to bring it up.

Car was flat-bedded to the dealer today. Just got a call from the service manager. He said that they need to replace the immobilizer unit. They will have it in tomorrow. So I should get my car back tomorrow night. No idea what caused the problem yet.

ISSUE RESOLVED

I picked up my car from the dealership last night. My service rep. stated that the Immobilizer and Transponder had been replaced. He has no real explanation for why these parts went bad.

My car starts right up again, just like it used to.

Thanks to everyone who offered help and advice.

Thanks -- Tom
