Let me make this clear -- I have never used marine goop for windscreen installation purposes --- but for just about everything else. When using marine goop no other chemicals are required. Just allow to dry overnight to allow it to get its full grip. Marine goop is designed for use where the contact surfaces are fairly large, such as within the clip on the windscreen. It's not for use where the contact areas are small. I've successfully used it for attaching the corners of custom made picture frames --- but nothing smaller. Superglue, on the other hand, is designed for attaching small areas that go together tightly with no gaps --- such as in repairing a cleanly-broken piece of china. The goop will create a strong but removable bond. I've never been able to remove something attached with superglue without damage.

Thanks,
Richard
