Default Has THIS ever happened to YOU?

Happened about a week ago...

I stalled my car at a stop light... radio was up loud, wasn't concentrating...

As soon as I started it back up, I took off and decided to take it up to 9000rpm, and it cut off at 7000rpm as if the cold-engine rev limiter kicked in... Now I know i didn't hurt anything because I know the engine was warm, I think the ECU just took a bit of time to realize it was at optimum running temperature...

I guess there's a temporary 10sec 7000rpm rev limiter after start-up regardless of engine temp?

That definitely sounds logical since the motor needs a few seconds to get lubed up.

Yeah, I stalled mine in a jam, stuck it in first and put my foot down, the car just cutout for a split second. So same as you.

Normal, me thinks.
