HATERS GON HATE
What's with all the techno hate? I don't blast it when I drive, but nothing else complements cruising down a nice road in the s2k like a great trance song. Evidence:
Thank you thank you. The fact that I've seen an accident unfold before my own eyes cause of reckless street racing and the fact that I have a Nursing license that I could lose if get caught doing anything stupid holds me back from letting loose. As far as the techno music is concerned... Nothing wrong with a little techno when you're stuck in dead stop traffic and need something to take you to a happy place instead of being able to watch as birds disappear on you. Im not even gonna start on lifted trucks. =(
I was at club in Irvine CA, the DJ played techno all night long. Several People requested to mix it up a bit with some hip hop. He refuse. Not too many people were dancing...he killed the night. This is the USA, not Europe.

Just two nights ago at the same stop light a Ferrari 355 Berlinetta Coupe pulled up next to me and instead of trying to race me, he asked me if he I wanted to trade

So I just got off of a 12HR shift. Im tired but Im super excited for my drive home. I pull up to a light and I see a semi modded TL tailing me. At the next stop light, he cuts off the car in the lane next to me leaving us side by side at the light. We're there sitting at the light and starts blasting techno music. He tried egging me on and started revving. I cant get caught doing anything reckless because of my nursing license so I let it go. When the light turns green he goes WOT and cuts me off as I make my way onto the freeway. I think he didnt know the area too well cause he ended up biting the curb and popping his rear passenger tire. I motioned to pull over to help him out and he decided to start screaming "f*^# ur honda." Why do so many people hate on the S2k. Cant we all just appreciate the cars for the marvels they are. Do you guys get lots of haters when u guys cruise?
but yeah, its good that you didnt engage them, even more props to you for trying to help them out. theres a lot of assholes out there so just ignore them.

Thus far, I have only received positive comments about the car. Those who have other performance cars seem to know about and respect the S's performance and abilities. I do find that the strangest challenge was a young kid in a Buick Century, yes Buick, yes Century. He challenged me several times on the interstate which I ignored. He then yelled something about a rice burner. Then I decided to take the last challenge in that we were heading into a curve which was an increasing radius curve to another part of the interstate. I simply downshifted and effortlessly accelerated through the curve with no problems. I don't think I reached 50 mph. He attempted to kept up and, of course he lost control, over correcting to the left, then over correcting to the right and eventually slammed into the jersey wall on the left. I watched this in my rear view mirror with a bit of sorrow. I did not stop. Obviously he was not familiar with the capabilities of our machines.
i always to do the same thing. it's so funny to me.i have a friend that always wants to race me. i did that to him at a light and he took off. i met him at the next light a ways up and he goes "you are such an ass".
I notice people tend to cut off the "little red car" more than I was used to with my Accord. Apparently everyone tries to show off. I had some douche canoe last night in an Oldsmobile Intrique (read: shitbox) that would constantly speed up and ride my bumper so I'd move over for him to pass, then he'd slow down when a car was in the right lane so I'd have to get behind him.
Once I was behind him he'd get in the right lane and slow down, then get behind me and the whole process started over again.
