Don't look at the car as a way to pick up chicks - look at it as a way to have her notice you at the stop light, then start the flirting......if you've got the house, take her to it.....or if you're a gentleman take her out for a bite to eat first (be careful, this part can be very overrated ).
Its not so much you can "pick up a chick" just for havin a nice car, but it is a nice conversation starter when a girl says "i love your car". Its up to you to seal the deal after that. Just say, "wanna go for a ride!"
