I you live in LA.. i think it boils down to your looks, job, and of course THE CAR. Girls are like that out here. I see alot of younger good looking chicks with old guys in Porsches

1965 AC Shelby cobra. I had a replica for about a year. Every single time i would take it out i would have multiple girls and women yell and scream at me.

It didnt even matter if i had a girl in the car with me already.

It was literally to much attention.

girls think it's manly or whatever when they know a guy drives stickshift, but they could care less about what car you drive.

 

what can an S2000 do that some other cars can't? it revs high, it's loud, it's fast, and it has a convertible top. if a guy shows off any of these features on his car (outisde of a car meet), he's going to be looked down upon as a showboating jerk.

To answer the original question: Nope.

During my wilder years I mainly transported myself on an old and ugly bicycle. Picking up girls was not a problem. Living in the city with the lifestyle I then had owning a car would have been more a liability than an asset.

Then I met the right girl. Moved to the Swedish equivalent of suburbia. Had children.

And now started to drive nice cars. Because I like nice cars. Fast nice cars.

I love my S. It is a magnificent piece of go-fast machinery. But as an aid to pick up girls? Seriously, all that takes is a modicrum of skills and a bit of personality. Not a car.
