Default Having problems putting my car in reverse..

Anyone else experiencing this problem? Lately it's been REALLY hard putting the car in reverse for some reason. It takes me several tries before I actually can do it. Anyone hear of any TSB's on this??

Have you tried putting it into first gear first and then going to reverse. I always do this before I put it into reverse.

I don't think there is a TSB for this, but I'd take it to the dealer if it's still a problem.

The other way is to do six and then reverse, it happens when your transmission fluid is getting old. Sorta a way to tell you to change it. Once you do, you will find that the problem goes away. No doubt, it's quite a delicated gearbox. Abusing it does wear it's life away.

I'm not sure the age of the transmission fluid has a lot to do with this. Mine has had this problem since it was driven off the transporter (14 miles).

Damn, I'm surprised. Nothing more to say but your dealership should take some responsibility in getting it sorted out properly.
