Default Headlight adjustment

I have an 05 model, and since day one the left headlight has aimed lower than the right. In fact it only lights up about 4 car lengths ahead of me. When I took it to the dealer they said there was no way to adjust it. They also said it was no big deal, but if it really bothered me they could replace it. Is it true that they can't be adjusted, or is my dealer full of it. Btw they still haven't figured out how to reset my oil life timer correctly so I don't trust them the least bit.

This is normal as so your driver's side headlight won't blind incoming drivers. The drivers side will be always lower than the passenger. It's like this with my AP1 as well.

No, I think its more than that. It goes down pretty sharply. At one car length its about a foot lower than the right one.

I also considered adjusting my head lights until I read the following post:

S2000 Headlight Adjustment

Now, I'm pretty sure my lights were adjusted correctly and are working as designed.

Here's another post on adjusting headlights...it's in the Under the Hood FAQ:

Inside your headlights, there's a shield that blocks the light that would shine upward.

Both shields have a notch which looks something like _____/===== so that the light each headlight projects is higher on the passenger side than on the driver's side.

If you cover one headlight, you'll still see the same light pattern: Lower on the driver's side than on the passenger's side. Even if you adjust the driver's headlight up, it'll look as if you adjusted both sides and the passenger side will still seem to be higher.

Have you already figured out for yourself how to reset your oil life timer?
