Headlight Bulbs
Yes, it's a real biatch of a job.
I tried to swap mine out as well by trying to bend the liner as much as I could, but to no avail. I hear you can do it through the engine compartment so try that out. You may have to remove a plastic water container thing for one of the sides.
Let me know if it works.

Is this what you tried?
Turn the wheel all the way to one side. Use a flat screwdriver to remove the two clips. You will be able to pull down the shield enough to change either bulb.
Sounds like the bumper may be a better option if this didn't work for you...I don't want to go taking containers apart - I'd rather (I think) take off the fender so I can't

Pull down the plastic guard under the fender. You have plenty of access to change the bulb, you just need a midget arm/ hand and a little bit of patience! Or take it to the dealer or a good auto parts store, they'd probably change it out for free minus the cost of the bulb( it doesn't sound like you are very mechanically inclined?)
This has nothing to do with being mechanically inclined, dude. It's about accessing a very small space. Be informed that the big turn signal bulb is easier to acces than the small-ass parking bulb which sits lower on the headlight thereby making it tougher to access. I don't have access to midget arms. But even midget arms may be too thick for this job.
Removing parts of the fender is a hard task because they are interlinked with nearly the whole front end (or so it seems). I tried the turn the wheel/pull back fender lining way.
Just go try and it out and I think you'll see what I mean. But first do attempt the engine compartment method.
