Default Headlight bulbs--- PLEASE HELP!

Where can I find the lowbeam headlight bulbs for my 03 S2000? I don't wanna give the dealer 205.00 just for one bulb. If anyone knows of any bulb that will fit, or where to get the stock bulbs cheap, lemme know. Thanks- Trish

Wait wait WAITTTTT, you have an 03 and your HID bulb already died?? Are you already over 36,000 miles? If not, it should be covered under warranty. Plus the HID's are supposed to be good for the life of the car.
You have either a defective bulb or ballast. I know my friend had his go out on an 02 S2000 and he had it replaced under warranty with no issue.

Same bulb is available online for $95 plus shipping. Can't remember where just now, but I posted it a few months ago; do a search on Philips.

If I remember correctly, I read somewhere a while back that when a HID light goes out, it's not necessarily the bulb that's out, but the inverter that ignites the bulb. Can anyone confirm on this?

I bought my 03 at an auction. I have had to repair a few things b/c it was flood damaged. But, so far, everything else (motor and trans) looks okay. If I have a ton of probs with it I will sell it in the summer and either get another one, or a 350Z.

So, does anyone know the site where I can get the bulbs for 95.00? I don't think that it is the inverter because my brights work. What other sites or places have these lights for cheap, or at least cheaper than dealer? ?

thanks for all your help==== Trisha
