Headlight bulbs--- PLEASE HELP!

The inverter doesn't control your brights, it only powers the low beam HID bulb.

If the car was flood damaged, the chances of this being a warranty issue are slim to none.

Yea, that information was omitted before. So I guess you'll have to go with hardtopguy on this one.

Hardtopguy is your best bet since you have no warranty on a salvage title car.

I don't have any warrenty on it. I did find something on xenonfactory.com for 2 bulbs for 275 + shipping. I might go that route, though I will check out hardtopguy.

Chubbikin, I just replaced both of my low beam HID bulbs (D2S, Philips, Germany) for $89.99 each. I bought them from autodirectsave.com. The local Honda dealer wanted $175 each and had to special order them.

Pull the bumper off and you can get to everything easily. It's a two hour job, taking your time, to replace both bulbs.

I don't know if everyone knows this or not, but if you touch these bulbs (the glass part), wipe them off with alcohol before you use them. The acid in your fingerprints will etch the glass envelope and could cause the envelope to break.
