Default Headlight lens cover nick

Noticed a pinhead size nick in the plastic lens for my headlight. Probably caused by a stone. I'm a new owner. Can you suggest a good-as-new repair?
Thanks for all of the good info on the forum.
PS: I mistakenly posted this earlier in the Arizona forum. I live in the SF Bay area. Sorry about that

unfortunately not much you can do about it. the lens covers are pretty much purchased as an entire assembly for approximately $450 bucks. (no, its not a joke!)

There are some products out there that can help prevent rock chips in the future.

I cannot imagine worrying about it. The car is low and you will continually be barraged by the debris thrown up by traffic, so unless you drive it on sparsely traveled routes it will be scarred. I have many over the front of the car, on the paint, lights, and windshield and have just learned to accept it.

The car is prettier as a garage queen but not as much fun.

hey...i know how you can prevent future damage to your headlights...you can buy a "headlight saver" from 'allroadster.com'...it's not available yet (i've been checking every couple days for a while), but it should be coming out soon...check for it, and even if i have to pay regular price, i would buy it, 'cause i'm scared of having to buy new ones too (i love my headlights)

Are these the the same as the Stongard which have been knocked throughout this forum?
