Headlight lens cover nick
Noticed a pinhead size nick in the plastic lens for my headlight. Probably caused by a stone. I'm a new owner. Can you suggest a good-as-new repair?
Thanks for all of the good info on the forum.
PS: I mistakenly posted this earlier in the Arizona forum. I live in the SF Bay area. Sorry about that

unfortunately not much you can do about it. the lens covers are pretty much purchased as an entire assembly for approximately $450 bucks. (no, its not a joke!)
There are some products out there that can help prevent rock chips in the future.

The car is prettier as a garage queen but not as much fun.

hey...i know how you can prevent future damage to your headlights...you can buy a "headlight saver" from 'allroadster.com'...it's not available yet (i've been checking every couple days for a while), but it should be coming out soon...check for it, and even if i have to pay regular price, i would buy it, 'cause i'm scared of having to buy new ones too (i love my headlights)
