Headlights in good condition?
I have noticed small scratches/cracks on both headlight units, on the upper part of each unit, right before the hood. You can't feel them, but you can see them walking around the front part of the car. Anybody else noticed something similar on their s2k?
Have noticed the same but it seems as though puting Lexol on them makes it better. I feel as though this is just a looks problem and donesn't cause any problem with the lights. It will be interesting to see how they stand up in the long run
Well this isn't exactly about replying the original poster's question, but after 25000miles of driving I can tell you that investing on one of those clear flexible plastic piece called headlight protector from Stongard or some other compan(forgot the name) in the early stage is very recommended.
Just like the windshield, the clear headlight cover is prone to little pits and grooves from the road debris.
Mine is beyond help at this stage to install one of those headlight protectors.
So do yourself a favor by getting that protector for your headlight piece, and save big money in the long run.

I've heard about those headlight protecting films. I believe www.allroadster.com and www.autopia-carcare has them, among others. I've read that they don't cause any changes to your headlights and are practically unnoticeable. I think they run about $40. I'm thinking about it since I do have some scratches/blemishes on mine.
