Heal Toe Technique?
Heel & toe in the S2k is a little harder than in some cars. The way I have to do it is to drive with the heel of foot part way between the brake and the accelerator. Then when braking, only place the part of my shoe under my big toe on the brake pedal. Then roll my foot over to blip the throttle. Take a look at these picks I took for you:
Step 1: Normal driving position

Step 2: Move foot to brake

Step 3: Roll foot to blip throttle

Alternate step 3: I'm not as comfortable with this style, but if you can, you place your toes on the brake (note they are high on the pedal) and then rotate your heel over to the throttle. This requires me to pick my foot up off the floorboard to accomplish...so I prefer to use the roll method.

Hope this helps...

A picture is worth a thousand words. But my advise is try to find someone local to show you how to do it. Foot position will depend on a lot of things including shoe size (and big feet doesn't nessessarily mean easier heel-toe) and comfortable foot angle. There are a hundred posts on the subject, but someone showing you will work out much better. I know how to do it, but reading all the posts are confusing because of the different opinions, so trying to learn by reading the post will be difficult.
Here's how I do it. I place my right foot on the throttle with my right heel on the floor of the car. Once my right foot is set, I never lift my right heel from the floor. To go to the brake, I lift my toes off the throttle, pull my right knee to my left knee, and pivot on my right heel to place the ball of my right foot onto the brake. When pressing on the brake, I make sure that my right foot is angled to the brake so that I don't hit the throttle as I depress the brake pedal. When I am ready to blip, I keep pressure on the brake as I move my right knee toward the center console. When I'm done blipping, I move my right knee back toward my left knee. That left right action is very fast and it causes my right edge of my right foot to touch and release the throttle.
I like this method because I my foot is always in the right position. I never have to reposition my whole foot to find the brake or throttle pedals therefore my transitions from braking to throttle is fast and smooth. It takes a bit of practice. YMMV.

with all this healing going on, I sincerely hope all your toes are okay. Personally, I use a heel-toe technique.
my foot isn't very wide so i have to do the alternative step 3 that negcamber posted.

Note for the autocrossers out there that pedal mods are not legal in stock categories.

It's a good thing that my 7th grade English teacher doesn't frequent this board!
