Default Heel-Toe

I know heel-toe is essential for tracks, but out of curiosity, how many of you use it for streets? I personally can get by without using heel-toe on the streets, but I do it anyway.

Where did you learn it and how long did it take you to perfect it. I learn from watching Best Motoring and Hot Versions. I learned it from the Drift King!

I only heel toe when I'm driving aggressive in the twisties or if I'm just practicing entering turns.

The majority of the time I just rev-match during DD.

i learned from best motoring as well. i swear it was the greatest feeling when i did it perfectly for the first time going through a bend. i don't usually do it unless i am driving aggressively in a safe environment. But man....the sound of heel-toeing at high revs gives me a boner every time.

I do it whenever needed. At my work, there's an nice left turn I take when I get off the 405. If the light is about to turn red, I usually go in hot and heel toe so I can be in vtec when I exit the corner. I do this because it looks stupid to other drivers if you go in fast and bog on your exit.

I do it a lot, not everytime I'm in the S but probably a few times a day. I learned at streets of willow back in 2000-2001 by watching friends when I was a passenger in thier cars.

I tried to get good at it, but the 99SI (w/ Mugen pedals) just did not feel very comfortable when heal toe'ing. After switching to the S heal toe'ing became a lot easier and I got better quickly

That's one of the greatest sounds. And it's the main motive for doing heel-toe.

I tried soooo many times, and I ONLY got it once. I think my feet are too big and retarded.

I do it on every turn and I have size 12-12.5 shoes. I do more of a "right side of foot-toe" technique since using my heel is hard to do with my size shoes. I also rev match every downshift - even in my girlfriend's 96 civic.
