I actually have to make an effort of purposely braking a little late so that I "need" brake and shift at the same time and heel toe

sometimes on the street you don't really need to brake and downshift, but if you make the effort to go into the corner in vtec, you better come out of it in vtec

"Elles Yeah!!"
gosh! i had to drive an automatic most of my life, cus my parents know nothing about cars and kept handing me down things. they even fought me about buying a manual cus they din think id ever be able to drive it home.. gosh..

cant let fear control ur life
man, i learned how to do it by watching Tsuchiya over adn over again. and i still watch him to perfect it. even tho u wanna do it all the time, u dun need to for every corner, like sum uphill corners it isnt so much needed... (maybe thas just me tho)

but i think its really good, cus i love engine brake and rev match too, but ppl are effin RETARDED! gotta remember noone else but u is really driving a manual so, u have to make sure they dun run into u. so yeah i heel and toe so i can stay on my brake lights for ^&#&&%%$!! idiots behind me

but i took my time learning it,
messed myself up, cus i used to drive a automatic with both feet!
but i learned to use my brake pedal as a Base (the foot stays vertical right over the brake, but leans right to lay on the accelerator)
so wenever i get into my car, i remember to make sure my right foot is based on the brake, then lean it on the gas to drive around.

i practiced the heel toe when i first got in the car, and before i left the car
and when i first tried it driving, i chirped the rear tires lol!
and it was just practicing in straight lines tilll i got it.
finally into corners, i had to learn to stay over the brake instead of heal toeing and jumping back over gass and messing up my "brake-Base"

but if u go in hot enough, lol u will stay over the brake lol!
so now i can heel toe any corner i want, just have to not get sloppy and try to be easy on the clutch and blipping.

and that was monthes of daily driving to learn all that lil stuff!! Maann, rev matching in VTEC is insane! u need so much more blip to get all those revs back!!

lol, hope everyone found this post; fun and educational

you have to do it all the time so it comes as second nature. Well for me at least.

[QUOTE=carrera4,Oct 1 2007, 06:33 PM] It's easier to do it properly with big feet.
