Heel-Toeing an S2000
The problem with heel toe in the S.....is the throttle is short... not that it's positioned too far to the right....
For people with big feet this can be real problem... You can get longer throttle pedals that will allow you to blip it with normal brake positioning...
For spirited driving, If you place your foot higher on the brake....when you flip your heel over you will find it easier to catch the throttle.
JMO..

I've never been a proponent of having your heel on the brakes and toes on the gas (even though initially, I practiced it like this). Why? In a real time emergency, when you hit the brakes, you naturally stab it with the toes, not the heel. So to heelntoe in reverse is really just reverse engineering your mindset... Brake modulation goes down as well. I tried this method originally, and finally just decided to learn it the classic way, the learning curve is greater initially but a much better and more comfortable way of H2T. And just more natural. I've never looked back since.
I find that the wall next to the gas pedal gets in the way to get a heel on it. On my accord,, since there is more spacing, i can get heel on the gas.. the s2k i guess it's more of rolling your foot (balls of feet)

You must have some kind of knees to get that done.
Many people have trouble getting the heel over on the throttle while braking with the toe so they position the foot about half on the brake and then roll their foot on to the throttle as required.
Agree, big time, on loving the S2000.

I still recollect that my heel was on the brake, but I could be wrong. I do much more rev-matching than heel toe driving on the street.
I've tried rolling the foot method too, and that worked pretty well, but I haven't practiced it too much.
I find the S much easier to heel toe then any other car besides a Miata, which is about as easy. My friends Civic Si is much more difficult, because the pedals are farther apart, but it is still possible with a little practice. I have tried both my heel and toe on the brake, and I found using my toes or the ball of my foot on the brake and my heel for the gas much easier. If you are wearing big shoes or have a car with pedals that are closer together, try using the left side of your foot for the brake and the right for the gas. I found this to work well in my friends 91 MR2 Turbo and our 1993 Toyota Pickup.
