Pedals on the "S"are perfectly placed for Heel and Toe.!!!
Just don't wear your fishing rubber boots, when you do it.!!!

Test drove the S2000 again today. Duncan, I found your notes to be true: your foot does have to be fairly hard on the brake to do it the way the car intends you to heel-toe.

I found it is easiest to heel-toe with my big toe on the brake and my foot angled 45 degrees to the left. So I have my big toe on the brake and the right side of my foot on the gas.

If you really have issues with the pedal placement, I've heard the sport pedal set available from the GoFastLab solves the problem nicely. The gas pedal has more meat on it to the left side which puts it much closer to the brake. This should help you out if you're having an issue.

I worry more about fouling the gearshift than I do about heel-toe the pedals. When I put it in neutral, I forget what gear it was in to start with- do I want 2nd, or 3rd.....

the S2K marketplace has pedals that will make heel/toeing easy.

BTW, I'm a 13 wide so the existing pedals are fine.

With my size 14 shoes, I don't heel-toe, I ball-toe... Some of my shoes can press both the gas pedal and brake at the same time on some cars, a very scary event when it happens. This is one reason I don't drive auto trannied cars..

that still shouldn't be a problem with 10.5 inch shoes and big legs.

I get mine done without a problem. easier on tennis shoe, little bit harder with dress shoes.

it would be better if there was just little more room on the right, but pedals are perfect for heel and toe on the s2k.

pedals shouldn't be a problem, it should be the drivers technique. just need more practice.

I've worn many different types of shoes...(dress shoes, sandles, indoor soccer shoes, running shoes, basketball shoes, barefoot etc... size 10.5) and I have no problem with heel toeing on the S2000. Maybe it will take time to get used to on the S2000 because you are used to another vehicles pedal arrangments. In my personal opinion though...the s2000's pedal placement is the best out there for heel to toe efforts.

It's one of the very first things I check for when I sit in new showroom cars, ...and the S2000's heel toe efforts I think are the best designed. I can't understand why other cars like the BMWs the accellerator is pushed down to the floor and the brakes and clutch are you typical swing from the top. In this BMW example is where I would rate the heel toe efforts aren't optimized.

heel toeing in the S is easy when you actually drive hard. as one of the previous posters indicated.
