Hey, just registered after I found out about these boards. My name is Adam, I'm 20 and I'm strongly considering the S2000 as my next vehicle. I also own a sportbike, 2001 SV650S with about 15K on the odo. Long time member of eSportbikes.com, if any of you are familiar. I know the answers to my questions are buried within, so I'll dispense with the standard questions. However, anything you guys think I need to know would be greatly appreciated... any Long Island people, like nassau county?

Welcome. When you get your S2000 there are 2 things that you will need to keep with you at all times. Chapstick and SPF30 sunscreen.

 

add a few more to that...

check the oil weekly (depending on how you drive)
NO VTEC until 3 bars on temp guage
beware of lift throttle induced spins (being such a light car)
