Right now I'm debating between this gorgeous '01 M3 with 19k miles for $33 or an '04 S2000 brand new for 31?

yeah, that is a tough choice. We are kinda biased here because most of us own an S2000, but i have to say that if I were in your shoes, I probably would lean really hard towards the BMW. Also depends on what the primary use of the car is? Daily driver? Weekend fun car? ect? That could play in big towards your decision...

i would do the beamer, the car is a monster in every aspect of performance and it has a back seat, a real torque curve and is a pretty rare car.

Yeah, I'm not fully decided on use of the car, if I got the M3, it'd be a daily driver. Of course with the S2k, it couldn't be, since I live in the midwest. Even on the M3, I'd need to buy winter tread. I'm pretty torn right now. Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

How about making the decision tougher....Have you considered picking up a used s2k. There are probably some good ones around, or you could look for leftover MY03. MY03 leftover should go for 27+, used s2k will range from 25-21. Figured I'd make you're decision tougher

BTW the s2k is not a bad winter driver according to alot of people, you just need to put blizzaks on it. They say that it handles better than a FWD with all-seasons in the snow then.

You're KILLING ME Thanks for the suggestions. My thought was I may be able to afford both, if I sell my current daily driver and find an '00 in the teens. But I think considering the transmission updates and glass rear window, I really need an '02 or newer S2k.
