Wow,

Great insight! I'm leaning toward buying the M3 and selling for a profit, THEN buying the S2000 The great price is because I'd be buying it from a relative, who's only getting offered 32 on dealer trade in, can you believe that??? Anyway, they'd give him a tax credit which would come out to about 34.5 credit for the car, so he's letting it go for 33.5, I've already found someone willing to buy it for 37.5. So I think I'm gonna go that route, but WOW it'll be tough to part with that car!?

As much as I enjoy and believe that the S2000 is a wonderful car and a great value, the offer you have in that M3, plus the fact that you know the previous owner and some of its history, and the depreciation issues among other things, would make it an easy decision...M3, hands down.

Fair question, actually the numbers I've quoted are after my cousin and I split the difference from his asking price. So yes, I have a soul, My cousin told me he's fine just selling the car, what I do after that is up to me. However, I'm now making him and I both some money... as he's splitting the difference we get above the original aksing price with me.
