Default Help

I have searched and searched and haven't found a how to on changing a burned out parking light. The right side parking light went out on me. It seems like its a PITA to change. Do I have to remove the bumper? Can someone please give me some advice on the easiest way to change the bulb out?

Thanks

I will just type what is says in the owners manual.

1. If you are changing the bulb on the drivers side, start the engine, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, then turn off the engine. If you are changing the bulb on the passenger's side, turn the steering wheel to the left.

2. Use a flat-tipped screwdriver to remove the three holding clips from the inner fender

3. Pull the inner fender cover back

4. Remove the socket from the headlight assmebly by turning it one-quarter turn counterclockwise.

5. Pull the bulb straight out of its socket.

6. Install the new bulb in the socket.

7. Insert the socket back into the headlight assembly. Turn it clockwise to lock it in place.

8. Turn on the light to make sure the new bulb is working.

9. Put the inner fender cover in place. Install the three holding clips. Lock each clip in place by pushing on the center.

I hope that helps.

Yes that is exactly what I wanted to know. Doesn't sound too bad, thanks for the reply.

I just had to do this to mine as well... As stated above that is the best way to do this, but I'll let you know that it's a TIGHT squeeze still and you may have to fight with it some...

Well I got it changed out. It wasn't as bad as I thougth it would be, it put up a little fight with the tight spacing but other than that I feel confident I could do it again fast next time. Thanks for the help again!
