Default Help !!The best Performanca exhaust

Hi, Everyone!
I am looking for the most performance oriented exhaust.
I heard that J's racing exhaust gains about 25HP, is it true?Where can I get one of those? Also, how much does it cost?
Help will be appreciated. THanks

Hey there...! Welcome to the forum. You will get good responses from people about exhausts. I have the HKS cat back and Mugen header. Sounds and looks terrific. The added torque from the header is very noticeable...I love it!

I would be leary of any claim of 25 hp out of an exhaust, there may be some, but I would bet that requires the removal of the catalytic convertor and is more or less a straight pipe with a silencer...that will be loud too!

But to each his own...!

I also wanted to point out that you seem to have misspelled your username. I assume you wanted Julia911, not Juila911? Contact C3 here and see if he can have that changed for you...

Enjoy!

I believe you can get J's racing from one of our sponsers MG Racing (check below) for less than $900. It may be 25 pounds lighter than stock but I doubt it would produce 25 extra hp.

Greg, I thought you were going to put an MG racing exhaust on your car. (?)

BTW, I really want the J's racing for my car but I seem to be spending my money playing with the CRX instead.

The max power you can get from an exhaust will be around 10-15hp . 25hp sounds like the gains for T/C or S/C engines.

I have dynoed the Spoon N1 and it made 13hp at wheels and I had dynoed Amuse R1 and I see 10hp at wheels.

It just depends on the exhaust efficiency cuz the more efficiency the exhaust have the louder will be.

Not quite true....

If you go to a twin rear muffler system you can effectively double the sound deadening... and change the flow characteristics more dramatically to suit the design goals.

There are more variables to designing a twin muffler system and an effective one that also saves weight AND is DOT legal is much harder to accomplish...
