What is the best brand name for a header and test pipe. I like the hks high power exhaust so what would go best with that? I don't have the exhaust yet but I am in the process of getting it.

Before anybody else says it, USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION. There is an entire 10 page thread on headers in the JDM forum. First of all, that exhaust won't make any power. It's a 50mm exhaust. A 70mm single exhaust has shown to make the most power on an otherwise stock car. Go with something like the J's racing 70rr. Also, Invidia makes a nice 70mm single exhaust. Invidia also makes a 63mm test pipe. If you want a header that does you any good, prepare to shell out $1,000+. The Tracy Sports header is excellent, along with J's racing. The J's racing combo makes excellent power. Bottom line, if you want more hp and plan on doing more things to your car in the future, DON'T get the HKS exhaust.

Save your money for FI. I did the complete bolt on thing with BLINGING JDM parts, tuning, and lost over 200 pounds out of my car and added 4.77 gears. It was still slow so I parted it out.

If you want a little more sound out of the car add a cold air intake and call it a day. The rest is just going to dent your wallet and not make you that much faster. If you have to do exhaust, get the Invidia 70mm single or T1R 70mm single and do a VAFC tune. The rest isn't going to make a real difference to actually make the car consistently faster in the real world.

$1000 for 5 horsepower, illegal emissions, and a voided warranty. Sounds great to me!
