Help buying a car
So I have seriously been looking at purchasing this car:

And I was wondering if you guys think that it is a decent price for the mileage and year. The dealer says it is in "perfect" condition, 2 owner. The carfax is clean, although mileage hasn't been reported since 10k, but I'm not sure if that is odd or not. I know it is hard to tell from the pictures, but do you see anything our of the ordinary or any modifications done to it? Thanks

Depending on the condition it might be worth it because that color combo is the rarest of the rare (and my favorite). Wish it had a lip and spoiler though. If you are close by check it out.. make sure all VIN stickers and paint matches. I'd ask them for pictures of bolster wear on the seats, good indicator of mileage and how anal the previous owner was about the car. You can probably talk them down to 13 which in my opinion would be a decent deal for the rarity of the car. Good luck!
Yea the only thing I'm worried about is my negotiating position since he said the car is getting a lot of traffic and I am driving 7 hours to see it tomorrow. Makes it a bit harder to walk away. What do you think is a good place to start negotiating OTD?
always be ready to walk away - rule #1 of car buying
plus, why not ask somebody who lives closer to take a look, check the region/town specific forums to see if anybody is close, a lot of people on this forum are really nice and could save you a lot of trouble if it's a 7 hour drive (at least to make sure it's good), but be specific about what you want them to look for, also see if there are any preferred mechanics near the vehicle who can inspect it (again ask around on the forum)
my main concern is why a car dealer can't afford a decent digital camera, hence I'd be ready to walk away, and don't sweat what the dealer says, honestly they are gonna make it sound like they have other buyers whether or not they really do, the economy is in rough shape i promise it's not getting as much traffic as the dealer wishes it was

pretty rare, I've seen white on reds sell very quickly, but don't let that kill your negotiating power... bring kbb and edmund values which are much lower than his asking price. If you wave cash in his face you'll probably be able to get it for 13000 although I haven't really dealt with dealers very much
