Well, here's the story. My hubby took the car to work and on the way home, on a dark country road he hit a piece of asphalt (4-5 inch chunk laying in road) He did not see it since he was looking for these damn dogs that are always looking to chase cars down that road.

Anyways, we thought it might be that we damaged a shock, so we took the wheel off (luckily that wasnt bent) and looked at the shock, everything looked good. You could barely compress it by pushing up on the wheel. The car also sounded like it was bottoming out on that side now as well (driver front) Its hard to explain the sound, but we thought the car was rubbing on the plastic underneath the fenderwell, so we raised the car a bit and took it out for another spin, it still makes noise. It only really makes noise once you get to about 65-70. The car doesnt shake or anything, just makes that noise. It almost sounds like a flat tire. Anyone have any thoughts? I posted a WTB thread in the FS forum thinking I might need new shocks, but that might not be it. Could it be that we damaged the tire and its making noise?
