Default Help with door panel issue

Hello, I was dynamating my door panels and am havingtroible getting my passenger door panel back on. Everything went well with the drivers side but on the passenger side when I install the panel, the door latch is hitting the top of the trim piece that needs to be removed.. Ive done plenty of installs in the past and I thought maybe the dynamat is stopping the door panel from seating properly however it seated just fine on the drivers side. Hs anyone ever encountered this problem?

it probably is a clearance issue. Just cause one side fits doesnt mean the other will work too, they are designed differently.

So should I start taking some of the dynamat off until it seats properly?

Hi,

I wanted to post an update to this. I took all of the dynamat off of the door panel and it still is not seating correctly. Could the plastic piece that sits by the door handle be bent?
